After an extensive refurbishment which lasted around 2 years, Diss’ Corn Hall reopened their doors in May 2017 to kick off the latest chapter in the venue’s history. I worked alongside their small but dedicated team to boost the Corn Hall’s marketing.
My focus with the Corn Hall has been to set up systems which are flexible and can be used by me, staff members or one of the venue’s many fantastic volunteers – I built an email template with mix-and-match sections, suitable for easily creating all sorts of communications, and ran some social media training.
I’ve done some PR work for the venue – keeping my copywriting skills sharp – and I got to indulge my inner history nerd when I set up a press call for TV historian Dan Cruickshank ahead of his talk at the Corn Hall. Click here to read one of the resulting interviews.
